- With his daughter Luciana, a painter too, and for the following ten years, was the director for the Teruz Museum, created by the family to exhibit the work of his father (considered one of the great masters of the Brazilian Painting). The museum has never received any governmental or private help, and has always being free for public visitation, administered with the family's budget

- Created the logo "Movimento Pro-Floresta da Tijuca" - a movement responsible for the change of status of the Tijuca Forest (the largest urban forest of the world), that was since then considered "International Patrimony" by UNESCO

- Moved with his family to the USA, where he obtained permanent resident status through his artistic curriculum
